What goes into building a retaining wall? A retaining wall is a protective structure that holds soil in place. Installation includes our team coming out to:
- Excavate and level the base
- Add sand and screed it
- Level the first row
- Drive in the pins to lock the blocks to one another
- Cut blocks to size using a chisel
- Finish the cut from the side
- Backfill with Gravel
- Finish the installation with special cap blocks
